CCM show 2025
The show at the NEC was absolutely fantastic - sunny weather (not that that matters), amazing energy, and each stand seemed to tell its own story of adventure and innovation. Walking through the halls, I couldn't help but feel inspired by how each brand was niching down into their specific version of life on the road. Here's my personal take on the five most exciting exhibits I discovered.

TentBox – Transforming Any Car into a Campsite
The TentBox display was a real showstopper - you couldn't miss their massive floor setup with that brilliant orange signage. They had five different models on display, and I was particularly impressed that even their smallest model can fit on a regular family car - proof that adventure doesn't require a huge vehicle.
- Their range spans from the compact GO to the spacious Lite XL and the luxurious Classic 2.0, designed to fit virtually any vehicle
- They're proudly British-made, offering a solid 5-year warranty, and boast an impressive community of over 25,000 TentBox enthusiasts My Take: Standing there at the TentBox display, I couldn't help but envision spontaneous weekend escapes - packing up on Friday, heading to a remote spot, and waking up to stunning views, all thanks to their cleverly designed roof tents.

CJL Leisure – Van Conversions with Vision
Located in the heart of hall five, CJL Leisure's stand was truly impressive. I had an enlightening conversation with Cye, who guided me through their range of custom van conversions. Their approach to transforming everything from VW Transporters to Ford Transits uses sophisticated 3D CAD software, ensuring precise fits and maintaining high safety standards.
- They specialise in converting everyday vans into adventure-ready vehicles, whether for sports, leisure, or specialised purposes like bike transport
- Their conversions come with TUV approval and NCC membership, demonstrating their commitment to safety and quality standards My Take: The combination of cutting-edge design capabilities and personalized service was truly impressive. It reinforced that a van conversion isn't just about transportation - it's about creating a perfectly tailored mobile sanctuary.

Kaktus Vans – Bold, Unapologetic Freedom on Wheels
Just around the corner, Kaktus Vans made a striking impression with their innovative approach to van conversions. Their display featured vehicles with stunning color schemes, custom modifications, and notably, an accessibility lift that really demonstrated their commitment to inclusive adventure.
- Their philosophy centers on "No Roots. No Limits." - a powerful statement, breaking free from conventional constraints
- Each vehicle is thoughtfully designed to blend eye-catching style with practical functionality, reflecting their commitment to independence My Take: Kaktus Vans really captured the essence of adventure. Their bold designs and confident approach made me reconsider what's possible in mobile living. It was refreshing to see a company so committed to helping people forge their own paths.

HolaWild – A Fresh, Eco-Friendly Take on Camping
HolaWild was one of the show's most exciting discoveries - a newcomer making quite an impact with their impressive display in the camping section's prime location. Their focus on sustainability was particularly compelling.
- Despite only launching last November, they've made waves with their use of steel poles instead of traditional plastic or composite materials
- They're developing innovative "DURA-AIR" inflatable poles for 2025, promising to deliver more than double the rigidity of standard options My Take: HolaWild's approach to combining innovation with environmental responsibility was genuinely inspiring. Their products seemed perfect for those who want to explore nature while minimizing their impact on it. The brand really feels like it's setting a new standard for modern camping equipment.

Luma Eyewear – Eco-Chic Gear for the Great Outdoors
While somewhat hidden in hall 4, the Luma Eyewear stand proved to be a delightful discovery. Their collection of eyewear crafted from sustainable materials like wood and cork offered something truly unique in the outdoor gear space. Check this one out, it's essentially a side hustle for the owners but it certainly is not one to miss. These guys will blow up!
- Their product line successfully merges natural materials with contemporary design principles
- Each piece is carefully crafted to ensure both durability and environmental consciousness My Take: Luma Eyewear's commitment to sustainable style left a lasting impression. Their products demonstrated that outdoor gear can be both environmentally responsible and fashionable - a perfect combination for the modern adventurer. It was a brilliant reminder that every aspect of outdoor life can be approached with sustainability in mind.
